Diego Fausto Mauricio Zuleta Ruiz was born on 15 July 1963 at the Luz Castro de Gutierrez hospital. At the age of 7 he went to the José Maria Bernal School; he was a hyperactive child. His father let him work for him and had him learn carpentry. Sadly, his father died soon after in an accident. Despite this, he dedicated himself to carpentry, set up his own workshop and made a lot of furniture. An accident completely turned his life around. He nevertheless tries to see the positive side in things and has found the way to fine arts and to painting which he really enjoys. He has received lessons from other disabled friends and is going to attend an elementary art school.
