Art by Swapna Augustine
Foot Artist from India
Swapna Augustine was born on 21 January 1975, in Kerala, Pothanicad. She was a child without both her arms by birth. Even as a kid, she made a habit of performing all tasks, including painting and drawing, with her feet. Since her talent for art was soon discovered, her parents and teachers gave her the necessary support and encouragement to continue painting when she was only a schoolgirl. Her paintings were published in students’ newsletters and youth magazines. Swapna has participated in several group exhibitions in India. She has been a member of MFPA since 1999.
